Bug List

Hi there. Just noticed an odd problem with an uploaded STEP file. I made the cog in Shapr - see second screenshot below and then uploaded a STEP file to Dropbox and downloaded this back into A360 to render the model - but the teeth of the cog were missing! See top screenshot . Have tried this twice but same thing has happened. I have checked in A360 but there are no hidden objects. If you want to see the file this is the link

Have you tried it importing to anything else?

Have just tried importing the file back into Shapr and it is missing the teeth still - see screenshot below.<img src="//cdck-file-uploads-global.s3.dualstack.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/business7/uploads/shapr3d/original/1X/1bb58537abd5a88216b96190a0587263a545d446.png" width="666" height="500">

Just one further thought on this Istvan - the teeth were made by making a single tooth and duplicating it. I then joined all of the teeth together using the union tool. I wonder if there is something here to do with the fact that I duplicated a lot of objects? Andy

Really weird, I will look into this, thanks for reporting.

Not sure if I am the only one with this problem, but finding it difficult to draw circles at the moment! Just seem to get straight lines - pencil might be low on charge - not sure if this would cause a problem - is it just me? Andy

With the beta, or the live?

Well there you go - recharging the pencil seems to do the trick - feel a bit foolish for mentioning it now! Andy

Hi, just playing with the app.when I adjusted an arc to make it look tangent to a line the fill jumped from the shape to an invisible circle aligned with the arc. Is this normal?

I undid it and got it to do it again too.

That’s a bug, thanks for reporting it. Such issues can occur when two curves have very similar tangents at their start points. That’s a known issue, we just did not have time to fix it before the new release, but we will fix it in the next release.
