# 2D Drawing Dimension Formatting

That’s great news. Thank you for the update.

While you’re at it, could you please add inch fractions as a unit? Manufacturers in the US do not want decimal inches, generally. They want fractions of an inch, with precision and tolerances in inch fractions as well. They’re lazy and don’t want to do the math themselves. They want the drawings in the units they prefer.

Hi Jason42,

You should be able to access a Fractional Inch format in the current version of Shapr3D too, by the following combination of settings. This will enable you to show all your length dimensions in fractions of inches.
