# 2D Drawing of bended object

Hello I am about to finish an object and want to prepare it for a 2D mechanical drawing.
I was wondering if someone could explain me how I can draw a folded object. I also want to show the folding line. Here is a screenshot of it:
I want to make sure that the specs are exactly the same in the 2D drawing as it is in 3D.

Hi there,
Create a construction plane and offset it from the edge youโd like make a line drawing. Use the **Project** tool.

This is another way of approaching this type of task.
Copy the Body and rotate it 90ยบ, then position Both Bodies roughly as shown.
The Rectangle serves as a target area Plane.
