# 3D text

Hello, I have to create 3D text elements that are about 15cm long and are connected fonts. For example, Love or Happy Birthday. How can I create this and then connect the letters so that everything is one piece? The height has to be about 3mm.

Hi and Welcome !  
Either you use menu \> Add \> text directly in Shapr3d or you create your text in another graphic application.  
You export it to DXF and then import it (File \> Import to current project).  
In both cases, in Shapr3d your text will be a sketch, it will be enough to do an extrusion of 3MM (menu \> Tools \> Extrude).
