I’m not noticing the improved loading of projects (iPad). Are there specific cases that load faster?

Reset camera view when re-entering project is a big downgrade for me. One of my projects I always need to set the angle to max…

This is apparently the update that caused thumbnails to always go to a default viewpoint.

That change makes a great many of the thumbnails on my dashboard useless.

Please see my post here:

> On Shapr3D for iPad, when I open a file, edit and save, the thumbnail doesn’t update to show the changed viewpoint. It’s most obvious because I’m viewing the model from a different direction when I save it, but once the file closes, the default view angle is still shown. But when open the file again, all the changes I made to the model are still there. It’s just the that thumbnail didn’t update as it always has in the past. I hope you fix this soon because these updated thumbnails help me reme…

As you may be able to see, I have site plans, elevations, details, and specialized views on my dashboard that would become uselessly vague, when seen from one default view and distance.

These are all files that have not been opened since the update. If I open them, these thumbnail views will be trashed.

I often have relatively small models that are very far away from the origin.
Typically because they are small art installations on a large architectural site plan.
If the site plan changes, I want to be able to re-import it, without having to manually reposition it, and possibly introduce a positioning error. Therefore, the site plan establishes where I place my models in the model space.

In this test file shown, I have a small model that is far away from the origin. The thumbnail makes it look as if the Shapr3D file is empty.

So the thumbnails become absolutely useless.

Thumbnails are so important in my workflow.
Please bring them back.
