# 5.840 - Tool and Section View visual updates

This release brings visual refinements to Section View and modeling tools for a clearer, more consistent modeling experience.

- **Improved** : Section View now features clearer colors and fill patterns, helping you distinguish bodies and interpret cross-sections.

- **Improved** : Tool previews for Mirror, Move/Rotate, and similar tools now clearly show the original and resulting geometry, making it easier to see the changes as you work.
- **Improved** : Expressions now support built-in functions like abs() and min(), giving you more flexibility when defining parametric relationships in your models.
