Find materials faster, inspect surfaces with new options, and control lighting in your scenes.

- **New** : Now you can search for materials in Visualization by name, type, or finish to quickly locate the right one.

- **New** : Choose between Shaded (Alt+S / Option+S) and Visualized (Alt+V / Option+V) shader options to control how your model’s surfaces are displayed for inspection.

- **New** : Use the Curvature Map option to analyze surface continuity and Gaussian curvature directly on your model.

- **New** : The light in Visualization Environments can now be adjusted by altitude, giving you more control over scene lighting.

Try these features and share your feedback in the comments below.

If it’s not possible to shine light onto objects at least let us turn the shadow off from light.

For us noobs, what information does us the Gaussian Surface analysis give? I see the dolors, the relation of them, but what do I know based on it?

Thanks!

Kind of disappointing that there is no official response to your question. Seems to be a pattern here.
