# Active Designs

Hello, I am currently using the free version of Shapr3D and I’m really enjoying it. I understand why there is no hobbyist plan but I’d still like to use Shapr3D. It mentions I can only have 2 ‘active designs’. I am wondering how to make a design inactive and what this would mean.

Hi! You cannot make a design inactive, with the free version the maximum number of design workspaces you can create is two. You can design an infinite number of 3D models inside each of them, but it is not possible to make them inactive/active to create a third workspace.
