# Adding a colleague to Teamspace

Good day,

I’m running Shapr3D on my iPad. I have a paid license.  
My colleague is running Shapr3D on a windows laptop. He has a paid license.

When I try and add my colleague to my Teamspace, it keeps asking me to pay for two license. I thought that once we had each purchased a license, we could create a team. Is this not the way the system works or am I doing something wrong?

Hi @StevenD ,

In a single team a team owner pays for every single seat. Now you and your colleagues have two separate (single user) teams.

Good morning Istvan,

Thank you for the prompt response.  
Regretfully, there is nowhere on your site, that actually states this point.

In addition, I might have misunderstood the situation with my draughtsman and his purchased seat. This came to my attention last night only, after I sent this enquiry.  
So, to now fix this issue, do I simply go to a normal Teamspace invite on my iPad and then pay for one additional seat?
