# Adding ridges around a shape

I have this shape for an extension cord plug that is not a perfect cylinder:

I want to add ridges around it, something like this (except with regular spacing of the ridges). I tinkered with the pattern tool, but couldn’t figure it out.

Use a separate pattern for each face.
