# Adjustable resolution of automatically added control points

**The problem that this feature will solve:**  
Improved control of the automatically added control points in generated splines / Bézier curves when lofting or offsets and several other work flows.

**Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:**  
I expect to have generated splines look the same as expected.

I want to be able to do the kinds of things described in the post above. Especially, I want lofts to look smooth and clean.

**What can’t you achieve without this feature?**  
This is a blocker for me. If I cannot loft successfully, I need to go back to solid works or some other. That’s a pity.
