Hi
I am used to functionality in SketchUp that allows and enables Lines and points to align with a plane or another line/plane. This allows the user to ensure that separate points are at the same height and/or level.
Is this available in Shapr3D?
If not, is there another way to achieve this?

Thanks
G

Hi @Ga_sim, in Shapr3D modeling is based on planar sketches, like in other solid modeling tools. If you can show an example of what you want to achieve, I am sure that we or someone on the forum can help you with how to design it with solid modeling tools. It requires a little bit different mindset compared to SketchUp.

You could try to use the projection function to create a projection of your part to a construction plane you add at the coordinates you need it.

Thanks @Istvan
I’ll send some examples
