# Aligning bodies in drawings

I’m adding bodies from the modelling page to drawings. I’m doing this one body at a time so that I can lay them out like a cut list.  
I can’t find any way to align the bodies or get them to snap to a grid.  
I feel I’m missing something.

Hi,

There isn’t any “Assembly” or snap function in Shapr, although in future one may come, since the staff said they were working on improvements to drawings. As to now, you’d have to add all the bodies at the same time.

Thanks.  
When I add all the bodies at the same time they take the form of the object as designed. I’m trying to lay them all out separately. So far I’ve found no way to do this other than bring them in one at a time. If there’s a better way I’d love to hear it.
