How do I get me apple pen to more then change the view???

In the videos, they are using an apple pen to add objects, etc…mine does not do that….

Hello @Alinfsd! The Apple Pencil is used for modeling-related inputs like sketching or interacting with the elements of the side menu. I am not sure what you are missing, but we are happy to help. Can you please turn on the tutorial mode and send us a screen recording of what is happening on your device with a description of what would you expect?
To turn on the tutorial mode, please open the Settings of the iPad, scroll down to Shapr3D on the left, select it, then switch the Display Pencil and Touches toggle on.
