# Asterisk added to name after Subtract

Wondering what the \* added to a body’s name after using the subtract tool means. .

When you use Boolean operations and you split bodies, the results will be called **body1 (1)**, **body2 (2)**, etc. If you split a body with a Subtract command into two pieces, for example, the resulting bodies will be called **body 02 (1)**, **body 02 (1)**\*. It is just a note that one body has been split up into more bodies after you finished the tool.
