# AVX2 Instruction set

Just opened Shapr and this screen shows up: does it mean I won’t be able to use Shapr any more on this machine (it does not have AVX2)??

How about the possibility to keep a Shapr Version that still works on this machine? Is there a way? Otherwise I’ll have to buy a new PC only because of Shapr3D? I understand obsolescence, but Shapr still runs perfectly fine with the current hardware, let me choose when I want to buy a new machine, don’t force it on me!

- email address connected to your Shapr3D account

- The version of Shapr3D you are using as shown under your Settings
