# Beginner. Grid Problems

When I move a body or line up along the axis the distance is being multiplied. I move it 16” typing or dragging and it’s like 40x the value. I didn’t have an issue until I downloaded pro. I have the grid locked at 1/4”. But grid lock on/off creates same error. I’m lost.

Hello @grahamc001, can you please post a video about the problem? The locked/unlocked state of the grid should not affect the values you type in and the video would help a lot in understanding what is happening.
