I use Siemens NX professionally for work. I was wondering if there were any plans to add a feature like the “Bridge Curve” function. Basically it looks at 2 separated splines and connects them with a bridged spline. The NX function gives the user with curvature continuity at each of the ends of the connecting splines. This would make the sweep feature far more powerful since I often need to draw splines that move in X,Y, and Z at the same time.

Hi there.
3D splines would be great as you suggest.
In the meantime I don’t know if you have seen there is a workaround using two sketches and subtraction.

Might be too much work if there are a lot of them needed of course.

> Hi @abby.peits Here’s a vid… I have to produce a line for the centre of a non circular wreathed handrail in my work (among other things). There’s always a 3D line in there somewhere. That’s how I learned the technique. Here’s a more complex example. Hope that helps.
