# Can’t open design

I had a pretty complex design with a lot of parts and I closed the app yesterday and now today I can no longer open that design. All my other designs work fine but when I go to open that one it just crashes the app. Any way I can get it to open I need the drawings. Thanks

Hi,

Depending on the device’s capabilities, the project might have become too complex / memory intense to be able to open it on it. If it’s an iPad, I suggest turning on Sync (if it’s not yet), and opening the project on a mac or Windows device. Due to their better memory management, and usually more memory, you will likely have no problem opening it.

Let us know if it still didn’t work.
