# Cannot import models

I need to modify something I can’t make in shapr. I tried .stl but that is only for reference apparently. I converted it to .stp, parasolid and .igs. So far nothing has worked. Its not even a big model. It’s 45mm diamater and 5mm tall. (I converted it using a program called CAD Exchanger)
When I used a .stp it sat on the loading screen with the blue bar barely loaded then just went back to an empty workspace. With the parasolid (.x\_t) it sat there with the blue circle full for over 10 minutes doing nothing so I quit out of that. Now the .igs also just sits there with the blue bar barely loaded. Nothing will load it seems. What’s going on?
