# Change default on Project tool?

99.9% of the time, I use the Project tool to project a profile onto a sketch so I can add to/manipulate it. Unfortunately, I usually forget to change the setting from Edges to Sketch and then get frustrated because I forgot to. It’s especially annoying for dimensioning to not work between sketch objects and projected edges on the same plane (possible enhancement to the app?). Is there any way to change the default on the Project tool to Sketch?

Great feedback. We should save the last setting. I’ve forwarded this to our product team, we will add this to our “small improvements” backlog.

I would appreciate this as a universal setting.  
For example with Extrude.
