# Changing from Mechanical Design

Good day! I’m stuck on a relative small matter. I’m trying to figure out how to change the focus from mechanical designing to Architecture designing. Can anyone please help?!.

Hi!

There is no focus on design type right now. It only affects the onboarding, but all onboarding flow teaches the same thing, just on different models. As such, there is no way at the moment to change it later.

So am I right to say that the current version of software for the iPad only supports mechanical designing? I currently want to switch to anchitectual designing, how can I do that?

No, there is absolutely no difference in app, other than the onboarding flow. You can do, whatever you want to do 🙂

Many users create architectural designs with Shapr3D, you will find some amazing ones on the forum too 🙂
