# Copy negative extrusions

On the ipad, if I create a negative extrusion, how can I copy it?

Just to clarify, are you trying to copy a cavity to another solid object?

Yes. I’m unsure of the basics. Having a multiuse drawing is different than what I’m used to. If I click on a surface and make a sketch it seems to be drawn on the base drawing and not the body.
