I have an object that that has an odd extrusion based on an axis. I want to make a copy of the top face of the extruded object. Is this possible? See the attached image. I want to make a copy of the selected blue face.

Greetings,

Place a construction plane above the face and use the **Project** tool.

I thought of that and it won’t work because the projected plane is not parallel to the face. Maybe I could rotate the object so the face is parallel?

Yes, that worked. I rotated the object then did the projection to get the same surface area. Thank you.

You could have the same result if you leave the object where it is and instead, rotate the plane before you use **Project**. Afterwards you can rotate the plane with with projection to whatever angle you wish.
