I have a sweep that I would like to perform but not sure how to draw my path.

Picture a brake cable from a bike as it travels from the handle bar down along the frame frame as an example.

I know this must be a simple thing to do and I am just missing the key.

Thanks!

Draw the cable from the Front view and extrude it.

Draw second sketch from the Side View and Project the line sketch. That gives you 3d curved line you can use to Sweep

Hide what you don’t need and you will get the 3d curved bike brake cable.

Thank you - I like this, and should be editable later on as things are refined.

So no great way for a sketch to be on multiple planes?

You can joining them is bit of a challenge to make the line smoothly continue.
