# Cut a pipe in half on the diameter

Hello  
I’m a beginner, I created a hollow tube and I’d like to cut it in half  
to see the inner canal

Hi -

The specifics of the tube would help, but please have a look at the two options below

1. Subtract half of the tube with a simple sketch, then pushpull the half of the profile

- double tap on top  
-draw a line  
-pushpull to subtract

1. Move the grid to the middle, and turn on section view. You can either do this by using the existing views, or by putting a construction plane to the right place
