# Cylinder on cylinder

I reviewed a couple posts regarding how to add a cylinder shape to another cylinder shape. I have the pro version and would appreciate a quick video that demonstrates this functionality as I am not sure of the steps or tools to use.

1. Double tap on the planar face
2. Sketch a circle
3. Extrude

I apologize, I wasn’t sure how to ask the question. What if one cylinder is horizontal and I want to add a vertical cylinder somewhere between the two ends?

You can use the Section view to precisely position your second cylinder 🙂
