# Cylindrical shield (heraldry)

Hi there,

My primary goal in learning Shapr3d is to make 3D shields in colour. (should not be impossible ?)  
The first step seems to cut a shield shape out of a cylindrical surface (on 120° of the circumference…).  
Don’t know how to do that but it should be an easy process ?
