# Designing Bevel Gears

I need to replace a set of bevel gears that are no longer available commercially. Is there a tutorial for bevel gear design?

Here’s a start. It demonstrates a method and note that it is a previous version of Shapr3D.

Mike, I did find and purchase from Amazon. Put like to try my hand at designing and printing in PETG or one of the 20% Metal PLA.

I have had good luck 3D printing gears in both PETG and PLA Pro. Here’s an example. Note the combination bevel gear and spur gear are two parts superglued together.
