# Designing for 3D printing

New to designing and Shapr3d. I tried to make a stand. However, the print failed as it didn’t create a body but just the base and printed rest in the air

Hi

Welcome to the forum.

Could you check the width of the walls you designed ? From what I see, the grid is 0.1 inch and the walls’ width are a small fraction of the grid size, so I guess the walls are too thin to be printed.
