# Designing from a photograph

Hi Guys,  
Is it possible to design using a photograph as a reference that has been imported into Shapr3d? How do you you deal with the perspective/distort of the image etc.

Hi, yes you can use an image as an outline for drawing your sketch. You can double-tap on the image to have it on 2d mode for a better perspective and then adjust its opacity. Here’s a short video on sketching using an image as an outline:
