# Desktop shortcut on windows

hello there.  
I would like to create a shortcut on the desktop of a windows 11 computer.  
but unfortunately i can’t find the installation directory.

unfortunately, there is no option to create a desktop shortcut directly when installing shapr3d.

I would be very grateful for a guide or something similar.
