# Dimensioning in drawing

Hi guys ,  
I use shapr for carpentry . Whenever i model a hip rafter in 3d and then go to drawings  
In order to get the dimensions and angles on the item it does get the measuring in the perspective and not in the absolut  
What am i doing wrong

Hey! I was just struggling with something similar. Without pics or examples im not sure if this is helpful but if you select a point instead of a line, when the measurement shows you can tap the icon next to it and choose absolute. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much for your answer. But that is not what effecting my problem i guess . I try to upload 3 measurments of the same line at the same part . All of them are different.

Hit the front button and custom button at the bottom
