Currently when drawing an arc, with trackpad (3 point arc sketch), it works as expected most of the time. However when the angle is close to a multiple of 45°, it is seemingly impossible to position the last point precisely because the angle snaps. I don’t have a mouse, but I think the behavior would be the same. This is with all “snap to” selections under the magnet icon turned off. Even with “snap to” turned on, I cannot snap that 3rd point to an edge.
.
I suggest using a modifier key like shift, control, or alt/option when user wants a constrained angle. (Many 2D drawing programs use that technique, like holding the shift key forces a circle, while no shift key makes ellipse when using the same tool)
