# Disable buttons while they’re not useful

Please follow the format below for requesting a feature.

**The problem that this feature will solve:**  
Pretty often, I’ll click to deactivate Isolation mode while some tool is active, which prevents it from working. No error, just nothing happens when you click.

**Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:**  
When clicking a button would do nothing, that button should be visibly disabled.

**What can’t you achieve without this feature?**
