# Do I have to have access to my email address to cancel my subscription

Do I have to have access to my email address to cancel my subscription. basically I’m in a bit of a silly situation where I no longer have access to my email address, meaning I can no longer conform any emails that are sent to it, however I know my shapr login details. So id like to cancel on my old account and re subscribe on my new account but I don’t know if I have to have access to the email to cancel.

If you can remember your details, feel free to log in and change the email address, it is not necessary to cancel your subscription.

I didn’t think of that will doing this sync my designs from both accounts, or move the designs I have on the old account to the new one.

Your account will remain the same, changing the email address will only change the email address used to access your account.
