# Drawings - erase/cut and format lines

It would be great to be able to erase or cut and delete select lines and portions of lines from drawings as needed.
It would also be great to have control over the weight of the lines, either in a properties tab, or directly through a contextual menu.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. The option to customise the line width (or changing font sizes) from the properties menu is on our roadmap for this year. Allowing options like in sketching for technical drawings is something we will consider later.

For removing lines and parts of lines, you can always draw intersecting lines to divide a line into multiple lines and then use the Trim tool to remove the segments you don’t want.

Hi TheBum, thanks, but I’m not referring to sketches. It’s the drawings that I’m talking about.
