# Drawings for parts off axis

I created my full model and produced drawings of the parts.
Good enough to hand off to a fabricator.
Some of the parts in the model were painful to make a dimensioned drawing
because the part is at a 45 degree angle from the front view of the model.
The drawing tool does not seem to have any features for projections on other planes than
the standard orthogonal views.
I did a work around by making a copy of the part and rotating to the front view,
produced the drawing, then deleted the copy.
Also seems to have no support for multiple cross-sections and detail views.
Projections, detail views, multiple cross sections are all necessary for complex machine parts.
And customized title blocks of course.

Hi @daniellerner , indeed there is a lot of room for improvement in Drawings. You can expect more features later this year.
