# Dwg file import

Hi when I import dwg file, all sketches show as empty

Was the issue resolved? I have a similar symptom - import goes through, but the imported file shows up empty. I’ve tried viewing the drawing in an adobe program, and there i can see it…

Hi @Erstf, there are some limitations in the supported drawing elements. Please take a look at this post below, I hope it helps:

I am having a similar problem importing windows in dwg-format. The process of importing never ends?
