# Dwg import

Hi all I’m sure this topic has been covered but I still have no solution. I have very little success importing dxf or dwg files. On ipad  
Occasionally I get a dxf to import successfully but very rarely can I successfully import a dwg. What are the dxf/dwg limitations?

Hi, there are some limitations of the DWG/DXF import because of unsupported sketching elements. Let me share an older thread about that where these details were collected:

Is it possible that you have texts and annotations in your files?
