# Dxf export to vcarve

I would like to export drawings from the Shapr3d to DXF format, but for some reason, the program doesn’t export them properly. The resulting file is just a bunch of garbage, and I can’t open it in VCarve.

“I have tried this before, and the program worked fine without any issues. However, after a recent update, everything suddenly changed, and I have never experienced this before. Has anyone encountered this problem?”

I export to DXF on a regular basis and I have not had this issue. You’re exporting a drawing, correct? If you want, send me one of your exports and I’ll try opening it in AutoCAD to see if there’s an issue.
