Hi,

I wanted to make a sketch with a number of uniform circles which are tightly packed.

I made a small block of 6 circles, 2 rows with three in each row. I then constrained the distance between the centers of each adjacent pair of circles to the diameter.

I used Move/Copy to duplicate this block to fill out my sketch. Unfortunately, the constraints didn’t seem to be copied with the circles. I had to go through and set the distance between centers for nearly every pair of circles.

Is there a better way to do this?

Hi, using the Transform Mirror feature maintains the set distance and dimensions. Except that you will have to draw a mirroring axis and perform the operation again after every initial step.

Maybe this might work better for you in this case 🙂
