# Editing dimensions directly in the dimension box

please, please, put back the function of the previous version, which is: clicking on a face opens the total length dimension and we place the dimension directly in that box.

Exemple: I want to set the dimension to 1998mm (see attached image)

Or at least give us the option to select which input type we want to use globally.
