# Electric Motorcycle WIP

I’ve recently started on an electric motorcycle now that I’m getting the hang of Shapr3D. I downloaded pics from the web and decided to start with the front end (wheel, brakes, forks etc) as it’s hardest and I’ve put several evenings into it as of now.  
Here’s some screenshots of progress.

.I’ve played some more with this. Took me a while to work out how to do a compound sweep on the handlebars and I ended up doing the initial Spline and then projecting that onto a curved shape behind it, then sweeping along the projected line.

The instruments were fun, all the display is geometry and I added coloured glass material to them with the intention of adding a backlight behind them soon. I added a true valve and cap and tidied up the bolts and nuts so they look more realistic.

Started on the handlebar switches today, left hand one almost finished here.

I worked on the handlebar right side switchgear and the grips/end caps today. So much fun learning, and so little time for it outside of work. 😉

Started on the bodywork, swingarm, shock etc. and still playing with materials and colours.

I added vents for cooling the battery pack. Also reduced the curve on edges of mudguards, and modified the steering column flat nut into a dome nut.
