# Ellipse with scalloped edge

I’m trying to model an ellipse with a scalloped edge (similar to this). The repeat tool will repeat around a uniform circle but not an ellipse. Is there a way of doing this in Shap3r?

Yes, the **Pattern** tool only works in linear and circular (for now).  
If you don’t mind a little distortion, you can pattern scallops around a circle and use the non-uniform **Scale** tool.

Hi, I tried to make such a design in another easy drawing programm and import it as a dxf. However so many points. Is there a simple way to delete these points ?
