Hello,

Today I was exporting my House from Shapr3D as a ZIP File with all my Objects (Windows ,Doors, Roof… ) as OBJs. When I Unzipped the folder on my PC and dragged all the files into Blender I noticed some parts of my house were missing. I found out that the Parts that were missing had a " \* " in the name that Shapr gave them. The " \* " came because I had duplicated them. This is a bug and needs to be fixed please. It is a lot of work to find all the Objects with " \* " and having to rename them so they can be exported.

Example Files:

Hey 21Suspect,
Are you sure that the items with " \* " aren’t exported?
" \* " in the filename is not supported by Windows so Shapr3D changes these to " \_ " in filenames. In this case you should find files like: Körper 35 (3)\_55.obj. Based on my investigation, import of these files work in Blender.
If that’s not the case, can you please share a workspace with which you have problems during export? We would appreciate if you could let us know your Shapr3D app version, export settings and Windows version as well.

Hi Daniel I finally know the error. I found a log file in the ZIP that I exported that revealed the problem. The Problem is not the " \* " but the german Character " ö " (o with 2 dots) witch stand for Body in English.

As I cannot upload a text file here, this is the log file:

Hey @21Suspect,
Please open a [support ticket](https://support.shapr3d.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) and send us the files with the version number of Blender you’re using.

I just changed my Language to English and now it works. By the way in german the “ä” “ö” and “ü” is known to cause problems thats why in germany it is normal to write “Koerper” instead of “Körper” as this avoids errors with charachters. Maybe they could change that
