# Exporting FBX format

Please follow the format below for requesting a feature.

**The problem that this feature will solve:**

Some animation programs work best if the 3d model is FBX rather than OBJ.

_Is this a workflow blocker for you? Is this why you can’t use Shapr3D for work? Is this slowing you down?_

Right now I have to import the model into another program like Rhinoceros and export from there as FBX.
