# Exporting question

Hi,
When exporting, is it possible to export only the currently visible layers or to explicitly indicate the things I want exported from a workspace? I’ve got a number of things on hidden layers used in the creation of the model that I don’t want to go back and create in the future, but when I export, it includes everything in the workspace.

Currently no. The export flow has to be improved.

Maybe we should just modify the export to export only the visible shapes, right? (For non .shapr formats only of course) That would be easy to implement.

I really like that as well. That would allow you to export as little or as much as needed.
