# Feature request: live slice control

For example when using a plane to view a sliced cross-section it would be great to be able to drag that plane back and forth to get a live update while dragging of the cross sectioned slice.

It has been suggested in the past (by me, among others). It got the same answer as every other potential feature: it’s on the roadmap.
