I’m finding that the extrusion feature only runs parallel with the plane being effected. So, if you’re doing a compound taper, you can apply a second angle to an existing angled plane. If there was a control for the degree of extrusion, facets -for example - would be easier to cut.

Also, subtractive measurements - in addition to cumulative measurements would be a great aid in the efficiency of fitting contoured pieces into existing designs.

Lastly - the controls need to show where you touch the object vs the middle or you can’t see your precise fit.

🙏🙏🙏

I’m in need of the same function. If I’m on an angled plane and want to extrude in another direction than the normal.
I’m now forced to use a work around, like a loft or move/rotate the resulting structure to its required orientation, which is quite inconvenient.
Has this been ever officially considered as a request?
Thanks
